Adesina Sanchez, or Desi for short, is a multi-faceted, true creative, with credits in film, broadcasting, print, and more. A born and raised New Yorker, she brings together the best of all worlds, with her multi-ethnic heritage and talents in drama, comedy, visual art, and music.
 
You can see Desi weekly in over 90 cities co-hosting the nationally syndicated TV program LatiNation, a magazine-style show that represents a new generation of Latinos living in the U.S. She has also VJ'ed with MTV Networks ; appeared nationally hosting network TV specials such as American Latino Dreams; presents and corresponds for various online concerns including TMZ.com, and can frequently be seen live on location hosting various community events as well.
 
In other media, Desi has held leading roles in several independent films, shorts, and even an Off-Broadway play. Of note is her lead role in the film JailCity, which won Best Feature at the NY Avignon Film Festival in 2006. In addition, she has been the face of commercials, magazines, catalogues, and print ad campaigns.

Recently, Desi was named one of Maxim Espanol’s Hottest Latinas in Music: Trained in piano since childhood at the Brooklyn/Queens Conservatory of Music and privately tutored in voice and on the electric guitar, Desi was scouted by Savant Music and is working on her first album: a unique blend of hard rock, latin, and urban elements realized through her intricate original lyrics and melodies.

Speaking of vocal talent, Desi is also an experienced radio voiceover artist, having done countless scripted and improvised comedic skits on local FM radio including 105.9 and Power 105.1 here in New York, as well as commercial spots across the country. Her voice can also be heard on Sirius Satellite’s worldwide Buzzsaw radio channel, branding the station’s name and several times each hour to millions of listeners.
 
And this creative chica doesn't limit herself when it comes to artistic outlets: educated in graphic design at SVA in New York, she was a successful freelance painter & designer for two years before embarking on her entertainment career -- in fact, she still keeps her pencils out for impromtu sketching sessions whenever the muse inspires her.
