Multimedia: Plaster, 13.25″ x 11.25″ x 11.5″ & projected images

I carved this sculpture out of a solid plaster block while in college; first, to challenge myself, because carving out of solid dry plaster takes a lot of muscle power and patience, but also as a commentary on what children are exposed to in modern society.

The plaster sculpture is of a Teletubby-like creature, to represent “safe children’s media,” and when the piece was originally displayed, it had images projected over it.
