I was so pleased to be chosen to illustrate the cover of this book based on the show Supernatural on the CW. I took a mixed media approach, first drawing the portraits of stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki precisely in pencil, then creating loose watercolor portraits of them as well as a watercolor background, and then finally importing scans of all into Photoshop to create a composite that would really fit the look that was requested.
I also videotaped the entire process and created a speeddrawing video of Jensen Ackles, which has over 12K views!
