Adesina is a New York born and raised visual artist, trained at recognized institutions such as The Art Students League, Pratt Institute, and the School of Visual Arts, where she turned her course of study from the fine arts, to graphic design.
Her skill set includes portraiture, painting, drawing, web & print design, and professional photo retouching.
Fine Art:
Born to immigrant parents from Cuba and the Dominican Republic, her Latina heritage is referenced by the bright palette of her watercolors, heavy on pigment; as well as by her surrealistic montages and social commentaries in oil and acrylic. Her artistic heroes are Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo, and Diego Rivera. Like them, Ms. Sanchez prefers to work figuratively, in a realistic style, and she especially enjoys portraiture and depicting animals and wildlife. She is available for commissions and gallery exhibitions and her management can be contacted here.

Web/Graphic Design & Digital Art:
A practical education at SVA led to immediate freelance opportunites for Adesina as early as her sophomore year. Her grasp of color and light, and her foundation in figurative art have inspired imaginative and image-oriented graphics that take on an almost illustrative quality, as seen in her earliest websites, e.g. www.NYCWildlife.org. She is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly PhotoShop and Illustrator, as well as in HTML, JavaScript, basic PHP, ASP & Flash. Ms. Sanchez is also able to paint digitally, provide digital retouching utilizing her Wacom tablet, and edit sound and video for web via Sony editing software: Vegas, Soundforge & Acid.
