Soft Pastels on Black Construction Paper, 30″x40″ and 40″x30″ Summer 2001
These are part of a series of nude studies which I drew from live models at School of Visual Arts. It was a new medium to me, and the blending possibilities were tremendously exciting, especially the density which could be achieved, almost like a painting.
