In preparation for the completion of a larger work, I have created a series of minis, in order to examine women’s characters in film and television. This palm-sized sculpture has a Wakanda theme, featuring the face paint from the Shuri character in the film Black Panther.
This small ceramic head is open and flat in the back, hollowed out and ready to hang. I have more photos and video coming soon of this piece; check back soon for more updates!
